Isn't it kind of morbid to worship a torture scene through songs, readings, and vivid pictures/scultpures?

not only do you sit in front of jesus dead on the cross, but you also go up and drink his blood and eat his flesh, while singing and reading about Jesus coming back to judge the living and the dead.....when you sit back and realize whats up, it's really really creepy.
