What is like living in Huston??? will it be a right place for me to move in ??i need some advice .?

First of all it is spelled Houston and there is definitely no winter weather! So you win in that department. But it is extremely hot. The difference between heat other places and the heat in Houston and New Orleans is the humidity. The air is so think with moisture that it can get hard to breathe. You definitely will experience the hurricanes if you move to New Orleans, however, it is an AMAZING city. Your average rent for a 1 bdrm in Houston will probably be in the 700s. Another thing is the people are SO friendly. There is definitely public transportation, but not as easily accessible as in NYC. But maybe with what you save on rent by living in Houston, you could get a cheap used car. Just make sure it has a working air conditioner! I don't know what the job market is like for a veterinarian, but you should probably have some interviews or a job lined up before you go. Get a Houston mailbox and put the Houston address on your resume when you send it out, that way they will be more likely to call you for an interview. They will probably not call you with a NY address.
