Do you think resorting to violence is the way to protect children?

Eye for an eye doesn't work, just keeps the feuds going. A person who harms a child intentionally should simply be eliminated. Cheap and easy. There has been no proof that those type of people can be rehabilitated anyways. By accident, that's a whole different ball game. And whatever the cirstances were, should dictate the punishment. The less serious things we should be able to act like adults and use as teaching opportunity's. The only issue with that seems to be everyones definition of adult and what should be taught.
